I dont know if the parents are “at fault”, but maybe too trustworthy. I remember I was eating there for a meal last year one yomtov and they were taking about how they let their boys have a computer in their room because they trust them and they even know any sites they have blocked the kids know how to bypass. Many parents do this(trust).
