In Montreal the Sephardim and ashkanaz population are very close, at least in MO circles…we send our kids to the same schools, eat at each others restaurants, and often daven at the same shuls. It is very common for ashkanaz and Sephardim to marry each other… I guess Shlishi doesnt agree…
