Yes, LIPA serves Far Rockaway, but apparently Mayor Bloomberg doesn’t know it (at least he only had a Con Ed spokesman at his drasha). I looked on the LIPA website, and there seems to be an outage in parts of FR, though it’s not very specific. My answering machine still isn’t responding, so I suspect we’re out.
