Let’s learn it together. I learned it using Rashi and a bit of Metzudos. There is a Kuntres that the Baal Tosafos Yomtov made on this topic. The Malbim has a radically different interpretation of the whole Parsha, if you want that. Keep in mind, though, what the Radak writes in the beginning of it. He writes that this Parsha will be Darshaned by Eliyahu Hanavi. Until then it is not entirely clear. Even Rashi wrote in a letter that he made a mistake, even though later in the Parsha he did mention the correct design. There is a Rashi there that ends saying that he didn’t have any help and he wrote as he was assisted by heaven.
