Reply To: Temple Beth El in BP ought to become an Aish Kodesh type shul!

i have relatives that have been davening there since they joined with Young Israel. They are very devoted to the shul and to the Rabbi. Although you may think you have a better use for the shul I think the regular mispallim would highly disagree with you and be very upset with your suggestions. You might think that it is a shame that it is empty and you have a better idea, but most of the people who are members are old time boro parkers from before boro park was so chassidish and this is a little bastion of their lives from the past. I do not think they are looking to be taken over by people who want to change them. Also they are very happy with their current Rabbi.
