soliek: I don’t think that’s true. What about Marcus Lehman or Avner Gold? Their works are practically classics. And Etka Gittel Schwartz – newish author, historical fiction? I find her stuff very interesting and engaging.
I get that you think a certain author is matchless. I have a few particular favorites, too (and they aren’t Jewish writers, either). But that doesn’t mean that there CAN’T be any other works worth reading.
