RK – The Poskim have said since it’s common to come back after cardiac arrest and/or being put on a by-pass machine – during that time you aren’t considered dead. If they don’t attempt to resuscitate you -then death is at the time of stoppage. If they do -then death is at the time they call the code (resuscitation).
