Dear brothers and sisters,

We understand your concern that has been ours too, before creating this event. However, series of hashgacha pratit pushed us to go ahead with this uniting prayer.

What about asking for Mashiach in the Kaddish everyday and nothing happen? DO you still wait for him? what about one out of the three mitsvos we’ll be asked if we fulfilled them in olam haba; did you pray for Moshiach? And what about the emuna in our sages and especially in the Chofetz Chaim? What about Chief Rabbi and rabbis who supported this event?

The intense connection than we felt before and during the prayer (and after, we hope!) was the first purpose and the first immediate reward and, for sure, brought happiness to our Father in heaven. He was waiting for our invitation to come, not only from his frum children but from his other loved children too. This was our purpose and Boruch Hashem, we could make it. You have no idea how many thousands of our brothers and sisters, not observant, were so happy to share this moment. Nobody was really expecting an immediate answer as, when you send an invitation to a wedding, you don’t send it to your friend one minute before the ceremony but enough time before. The coming of Mashiach is now a reality they can anticipate for. They performed the mitsva: did you pray for Mashiach? Is this to little? And they did it with hapiness and unity which open all the gates. Of course, observant Jews joined too the prayer so we were all especially united at that moment.

Keep in mind the inauguration of the Mishkan: Moshe and Aaron performed all the mitsvot that Hashem prescribed for the ceremony with the promise that He would send a fire as a sign of agreement. But, the fire did not descend until Moshe and Aaron realized that they did not pray Hashem to come… No invitation, no divine presence. If we wait for Mashiach and Hashem waits for us to demand… we have to do something.

Unity and prayer are our most powerful tools. On this Sunday September 23, Hashem gave us the possibility to combine them.

When you have to take a decision, you have to consider the advantages and inconveniences. In this case, the advantages weighted so much more!… The most common reaction has been: we want to do it again!!! However, it is no more possible because of the time of Mincha in Israel and this event could only be based on 5:00pm Israel time to have reasonable times worldwide.

So, now we hope and wait for very good news as, bli ayin hara, we were about 2 millions Jews around the globe to be connected at the exact same minute with the same demand.

Thank you for your attention.
