Yes, this is where we disagree. I don’t understand why you deny this possibility? Second of all, Plumba was using sarcasm to change the subject of Toeiva marriage to other Toeivas, which you chimed in about. My response was that Toeiva marriages is much worse than other Toeivas. This is still true.

This certainly is not true. We do have to look at all the possibilities of this tragedy which include Toeiva marriages. Why are you putting your head in the sand regarding this? Chazal don’t waste their words. If they are telling us the Mabul came because of Toeiva marriage contracts – this is for us to learn from in the future.
