Just wondering, all those who are not so desperate, who have the time and luxury to actually (grow and) brew their coffee, does it have the same caffeine effect as instant? Does it also help keep eyelids open?
More important than the brewing method are the species of beans used. The better brewed coffee use Arabica beans which have about half as much caffine as the cheaper Robusta beans used to make instant coffee.
The easiest method to make sure you get Arabica coffee without having to read the fine print is to buy 100% Colombian coffee, only Arabica is grown in Colombia.
