For the record, I am not convinced that Obama is a good president, but nor is he evil incarnate. I did not vote for him. That doesn’t mean I voted for Romney, either. This thread was about the positive, which I am always happy to highlight, on any topic.
Working on it-
1. Gay marriage. He stated that while he personally believes marriage is between a man and woman, he believes that civil unions should not be unrecognized legally. Later, he bent to the political winds and emphasized his latter view. Hardly a rip-roaring supporter.
2. It doesn’t matter what he does but what he says. The real power of a president is that he has a bully pulpit.
3. If you’re determined to see every move he makes as anti-Jewish, including hiring Orthodox Jews, who am I to argue?
4. He has been criticized by the media and sure he can do damage. So could Bush. This is a pointless argument.
