My Rav told me that R’ Moshe Feinstien was ???? shaving. Somebody once asked him why he never wrote this in ????? ???, and he said that he didn’t want to write the ??? in a ?????? sefer, because the ???? of a Yid is with a beard.
The Satmar Rebbe was very friendly with somebody who was cleanshaven. A Chassid once asked the Rebbe how can it be you are so friendly – you pasken that it is Assur to shave?
He answered that “When he comes up to ???? they will ask ‘Yid, Yid – where is your beard?’ When you come up, they will say ‘Beard, Beard, where is your Yid?'”
