wow, pretty pathetic all of you. i’ve never seen people gang up on someone like this on this site before. it’s interesting because the original poster had a great suggestion to learn Torah in someone’s memory. Maybe it’s not someone who you think you’d like to learn Torah for so don’t. Rediculous that you want to slam Koch for the things he did wrong but insulting ZDad is just as bad if not worse. it could be that ZDad has or has not said L”H things on other threads but that doesn’t detract at all from the truth of his statement – all you’re doing is saying L”H about a dead man!!!!!! does that make you feel good about yourself?? pathetic.
back to rebdoniel’s suggestion – it’s a great idea. and for all of you who think Koch doesn’t deserve it, that’s all the more reason he NEEDS it and it’s our obligation to do it! MorahRach – Hashem is happy to hear your tefilot and accept the Torah learning that you bring in to the world. the fact that you’re a woman is of no consequence to Hashem. the fact that most (all) of the nasty comments here came from men is quite telling. no wonder our tradition tells us that women bring the true yiddishkeit into our homes and children. personally, I will take on learning some Mishna Avot because it’s what I see is most lacking in myself and on this site (i’m quite sure i’ve said bad things on this site before too and i’m seeing why it’s so damaging to our nation.
