MP: Illustrator doesn’t really let you customize all that…I know Photoshop does (by the way, you don’t have to reinstall: it’s in Preferences->Performance). And my Photoshop is optimized (luckily I have plenty of RAM and a decent graphics card), and works like a dream. It’s just Illustrator. And it crashes on the computers at school, too. >(
