If the winning ticket was bought last Thursday afternoon in xyz store, and that is common knowledge, I’d venture that most of the people who bought tickets there that afternoon have already looked at their tickets. I don’t know the amount of tickets sold that afternoon, but if it was, say, 100, and 97 of the people checked and weren’t winners, your odds of winning are very high. So don’t sell.
