Reply To: Are we so much different than previous doros?

I think that to its credit, this generation has a greater involvement in doing ongoing chessed activities (beyond the giving of tzedaka), and more of the “common man” learning and knowing Torah, than the previous generation did. Certainly more boys are sitting in Yeshivah than ever before, and more girls are Torah-educated than was my parents’ generation.
