The ACLU is a prime example (and it’s funny, because most people think of the ACLU as supremely left-wing, but if you look at the cases they take, you’ll see it’s not so).
Yes, but whenever there is a conflict of those interests, they always pick choose the non-religious. Ex. Contraceptive mandate.
