In Prague the building from before the war are still there as are the treasures. In the Chevra Kadisha building there is series of watercolors explaining a jewish funeral in pictures from the 1700’s.
The picture show people surrounding the death bed, Tahara, Burial, the mourning crying and the mourning sitting shiva. Basically what a burial looked like in the 18th century Prague.
NONE of the people in the watercolors are wearing strimels or Beckashers and many didnt even have beards
