Looks like i missed a lot of action here while i was at work lol. I have that situation every couple of months, I usually have to adjust my lantus (in ur case basal rate I think). And then i swing right back. The only other cause has been a bad insulin pen. Usually it happened after my pen spent too much time in the heat. I bought this great pen cooler from frio. It keeps the insulin at room temp! i use it all summer.
