No, that’s not what he said. The doc will take it away. This isn’t a punishment, but it’s his/hers job to help you manage Diabetes. If you can’t lower your A1c’s, that’s telling the doc -on the avg. you have high BG’s. If the doc has to put you on Insulin via subq in order to try to control the BG’s, then that’s exactly what he/she will do!
