I’m not here to get you or anyone upset. I’m here to help you with your illness. Sometimes I think young people feel -won’t this just go away and I won’t have to deal with this anymore. It’s possible that they will develop a cure or close to it, but in the meantime you have to learn to deal with what Hashem gave you. It will take hard work throughout your lifetime to keep complications at bay. But you can do it, even if it has to be constant. I think you feel if I’m not there yet, I failed. This is so far from the truth – eg. you just started exercising better. You are well on your way to getting this disease under control. The only one putting you down is yourself because you live in the NOW generation. If you don’t have it or get it now, you will never get it. Your self-criticism -you are deflecting on me. I still stand by my statement of sometimes people need “tough love”. I don’t think you are one of the ones that need it, but sometimes people need different motivations. You are very self-critical and that’s why you think I was talking about you. Nobody has to be perfect in this world, but we all have to try.
