sunday we were in manhattan for a research concering as new type of infusion set. it’s meant to be like a generic brand. it is compatible with the animas pump. it’s really flat on the body, and pretty easy to insert. it has a protective cover over the trigger so you wont insert it before you are ready. also it features the needle inside the “shooter” so that you dont really see the needle within the canula, and you wont by mistake prick yourself. one thing that was cool about it is that there is a spring inside the set (which is on the body) that if the canula ever comes out of the body it tells the pump that there is no delivery.
it was fun being there, even for the kids, especially for the fact that there was a street fare right there.
also i got my new pump today hurray, with a cgm!!!!!!!!!!!!
