If there is any one that knows the woman that came into my lane and possibly hit me today (Thursday 6/24) on the palisades parkway near exit 2 can you please have her contact me. In addition I would like to take the opportunity to thank the hatzlah volunteers that helped me.

June 25, 2010 2:29 am at 2:29 am #687304R.L.Memberwell what happened was she came into my lane causing me to swerve off the road totaling the car (b’h not me, im fine). It happened so fast that i am not sure if she actually hit me or not. I was told that she stopped on the side and that somebody suggested to her to leave She would know if she hit me because she would have damage on her van. My car was banged up from sideswiping a tree so i can’t tell on my car

If someone suggested she leave, the probability is she didn’t sustain damage. Otherwise it would be easily provable she engaged in a hit and run. Either way, if she left she may deny involvement, and it will be a he-said she-said situation. Do you think even if you find her anything constructive will be accomplished?
Do you have any witnesses who can identify her? Who advised her to leave? Is it possible she told that person she doesn’t think she was involved, so he told her to leave? (Although that is doubtful if she stopped in the first place, unless she only stopped because she thought maybe someone was hurt and left when told everyone was okay.)
June 25, 2010 3:05 am at 3:05 am #687306R.L.Memberif she wants to deny it fine but i would like to think that in the confusion of the moment she left ( she did cause the accident whether she hit me or not) and after she has had time to reflect that she would welcome the opportunity to come to me personally w/o any involvent of the authorities and we would come to terms.
