they blame the principle for not giving a good enough report take them to court and get a nice lump sum outta them for badmouthing!!! LOL! In this generation children are perfect and the adults are at fault!! true story, it really happened and the girl got a good shidduch after that, that’s what happens when you marry for the gelt!!! LOL!!

sem is short for seminary. a year of intensive torah study, ussually in israel

i applied to three seminaries and didnt get into any :/
theobvious~ thats horrible :/ i was just talking to my friend even though seminary is amazing how messed up the situation of getting into seminary is. i know a few so called “perfect girls who didnt get in, and some people get in just because they have a prominent name or connections which isnt really fare for someone who doesnt have any………..( i dont mean this to sound negative against anyone)but just to give chizuk u should realize that just because you didnt get accepted doesnt mean ur not a wonderful or smart person, who has great midos etc.
thanks happym19. im not really upset about not getting in because whatever is supposed to happen will happen im just ypset about the whole rejection situation… and then everyone calls everyone to ask “if its ok to ask” and then the next day in school having to deal with everyone else getting in…..
yeah i was just thinking that…ik some schools make a rule before hand that no one can talk abt. it for atleast a week after, which can definatly be very annoying but is nice for the girls who didnt get accepted…..btw you could probably ask a principal or a teacher to try to call and see if theres any way to push you into one of the seminaries
its weird but i feel that if they didnt accept me, ill feel stupid going to a place that didnt want me. and that rule is not so smart because you cant really stop girls from talking! they should be that intuitive on their own!
my neice got into all three she applied to!!
btw what are the sems checking when they accept/ dont accept?? (apart from money!) do they care about school reports??
