Have you ever watched a sad person “cheer up”,simply because someone instructed him to?
Have you ever seen a really nervous person “relax” because another(nervous) person told him to?
I NEVER DID,and I’ve been around awhile.
Can we provide better responses?
<cutie pie,if this thread is too dumb,please forgive me:)>

Anxious people do respond to people who connect with them verbally.

August 15, 2012 6:51 pm at 6:51 pm #891478chocandpatienceMemberi’d tell them to listen to Rabbi Kelerman’s ‘We are never alone’. It’s hilarious. That should cheer anyone up.
August 15, 2012 7:25 pm at 7:25 pm #891479frummy in the tummyParticipantIt depends on who it’s coming from, how it’s said, and why the person is sad/upset. No easy fix-all way to answer.
