I grew up thinking that chiropracters didn’t really help and they just made you feel better psychologically. Now I keep hearing from people who saw real result from a chiropracter(ex: for allergies, reflux…) Is this real? or is it just pychological? really I don’t see how pushing really hard in one place can make you feel better in another place.

the therapy comes from the belief/philosophy that when the body is in harmony with itself ie aligned, the body’s problems will go away.

The “pushing really hard” is the Dr. aligning your bones. I go whenever I feel the need. Personally, I love the feeling afterwards. Some people don’t like the process though; they find it unpleasant.

But the first time I went, after he cracked my neck I felt a huge pressure released that I had stopped noticing was even there because I had gotten so used to it.

OP Chiropractor Adjustments work, because they target different Organs and other places such as the Neck, Feet and more that are out of Alignment. When the Skeletal System is Aligned then we feel better. An Osteopath is another type of Doctor who Adjusts the Skeletal System, and also works to correct Health Problems.

Prevention(on the part of the Patient)is taking resposibility in feeling better. This means taking Supplements, Substituting and making changes in their Diet, Increasing ones Emuna and more.

I spent about a month this past year going regularly for lower back pain after an accident and it did wonders for me!
