Health – How do you get unblocked so quickly?
Intresting, I had an account blocked about a year ago, and emailed and I emailed and got no response. It’s still blocked. I just told them that I am gonna create a new one.

I was having a silly convo with another poster as a joke and one of the posters (who actually posts in this topic) made a big deal about it.

I was banned from the CR about a year ago for suggesting that if a chazzan walks away from the amud in the middle of davening, the people should stone him with their esrogim. Funnily enough, the post was put up, but I was put on vacation.

I opened a new user account and nicknamed it “popa-bar-abba”, and posted a compliment to the real pba for the way he manage to post on that thread with the esrog throwing while he was blocked. I think that’s why I was blocked.
It was an attempt at humor; I pointed out that I didn’t have pba’s subtitle. I guess the moderator didn’t find it funny.

I checked over the rules of the CR again, and no where did I find that copying a “members” screenname is deemed to get blocked. The only thing I did see was, that it is against the rules to mimic a moderators name. So after all PBA must be a mod, and one may not mimic his name.

Or maybe, the rules say “Opinions are okay, but demeaning Torah, halacha and gedolim is not okay.” So maybe imitating a gadol is demeaning him?

I got blocked for no reason. I created a new account but stopped posting because of it. It got me very frustrated with the the management especially after i tried to contact them to find out why, and was met with silence!
pba – A bit far fetched, is my reason not true?

If someone did it with malicious intent, it would be a valid reason to be blocked. (I didn’t, and I wasn’t trying to fool anyone, but hey, it’s not my site.)

you know what I wonder? why any website especially YWN would create a CR and then have to hire people or recruite volunteers to supervise it? Like what do they benefit from it? I can’t imagine anything except its fun for the posters, so why do they bother with all the headache it is for them?
