How would you describe your Yeshiva education on a resume?

I would just say something about having a private school eduaction… Unless you have to go in2 detail in which case I don’t have any answers for u.

    Good luck though!!

    good question,

I was told write your Talmudic Law degree and the years you went there (you have to fill up those years somehow)

What coffee addict said, but also put in if you were recognized/honored for any outstanding achievements.

Keep in mind that they may ask you for transcripts. So find out if your yeshiva will provide any, and if so, what will those transcripts say.

Just list the dates of attendance, and city/state of your yeshiva. In total, I’d have it look like this (I suspect the html will skew how I write it, but here goes):

    Education:

Bachelor of Talmudic Law, 2011 (This is the year you “graduated.”)

9/08-6/11 Yeshiva Ploni Almoni Talmudical Academy Brooklyn, NY

    Major: Law & Ethics

    Minor: Jewish History

(Can insert “Hebrew,” “Ancient Near East Studies,” “Philosophy,” “Theology,” “Literature,” or “Culture” if it’s a better slant for the job you’re seeking.)
