Do you find dryer lint marvelous?

It’s amazing how I have family in Israel that simply hang there clothes to dry in the sun. I wonder if they know how fun it is to collect and then discard fluffy piles of clothing remnants.

As a teenager, we had a fire in our basement due to accumulated lint in the dryer exhaust hose. Not so fun.

takahmamash: Awww!!! I am so sorry. That’s definitely not fun. I forgot about the dangers of dryer lint. You are right. It’s safer to have clothes hang out to dry in the sun, versus leave the dryer on chas veshalom.

May your dryer exhaust hose always be clear and may your home always be safe.

Now that we made aliyah, we barely use the dryer. Why waste the electricity when I can hang the stuff out and it dries within a few hours?

I used to find dryer lint abhorrent. But I’ve come to appreciate the different colors that come out every time, and the softness of it.
