Uncover, shut the oven off and leave the chicken browning in the residual heat. Easy as can be but looks like lots of work went into it

Home-style gefilte fish
Ingredients
1 jar of gefilte fish in jelled broth
1 stalk of celery, chopped
Separate the fish balls from the broth, set aside. Put the broth and veggies into a pot and cook over a low flame until the carrots and celery are tender. Add the gefilte fish balls and continue to cook until warmed through. Tastes like homemade.
I believe that in cooking, one should cheat whenever possible.
May 21, 2015 7:21 pm at 7:21 pm #1082641Torah613TorahParticipantMrs. Plony, the problem is that gefilte fish in the gel is very expensive.
I’ve tried to make gefilte fish from scratch, but it doesn’t come out well.
The best, easiest and cheapest recipe is as follows:
Buy a loaf of cheapest gefilte fish, defrost for 20 min and unwrap
Take a 8 oz can of tomato sauce, pour 1/4 can into pan, cover bottom.
Put in unwrapped fish, cover with rest of tomato sauce, bake as instructions say to.
It is so delicious and so easy.

Chocolate Milk
Ingredients:
1 tsp. Chocolate flavored syrup
7 fl. oz. Milk
Directions:
Pour both ingredients in glass. Stir and enjoy!

May 21, 2015 10:23 pm at 10:23 pm #1082644MRS PLONYParticipantGamanit: Only ONE TEASPOON of chocolate syrup? No way! A tablespoon at least!
May 22, 2015 1:12 am at 1:12 am #1082645🐵 ⌨ GamanitParticipantMRS PLONY- Yes, only one teaspoon. Just enough to color the milk. That’s what the recommended serving is if I remember correctly.
