I’m trying find my grandfather’s Teudat Zehut (Israeli ID number) in order to locate other records regarding his time in Israel after the Shoah. It seems that no information is available to me in Israel without this number but I have not been able to find out what his number was. I have no surviving documents from this time (late 1940s – early 1950s). Any suggestions?

If you’re in Israel, there are people you can ask who can help you out. Not gonna say more, but you can have the mods give you my email.

Hi Toi – I am not the original poster, but I am also searching for my grandmother’s Teudat Zehut and I am having trouble figuring out how. Would you be willing to give me some direction or help? Can you email me? Thank you!!!

Hi Toi, Not sure how to get the moderators to give me your email, so would greatly appreciate it if you contact me about getting people in Israel to help me obtain the TZ for my father who died in eretz Yisroel in 1951, long time ago. I am not living in Israel. Thanks!
