    As the topic says, my daughter learned that four people were free of sin but only died due to chait haegel (ie. since people have to die). They were: Binyamin ben Yaakov, Amram avi Moshe, Yishai, AND??? Please help. Also a source if you know it. Thanks.

    smh1 you meant to say due to the sin of the serpent not the chait haegel see the Gemara Shabbos daf – 55B

    The fourth person you’re looking for is Kilav, the son of Dovid. And the moderator is correct… after all, how could Binyamin and Amram have died because of the sin of the Golden Calf? They had died before it occurred.

    smh1, the sefer “Ishai HaTanach” can be a great resource to answer these types of questions too. It’s indexed by name and lists quotes from all over Torah SheBa’al Peh about each individual. The original sefer is one volume; I think the English language version comprises two volumes.
