does anyone have any ideas on a nice gift to buy for my wife in the 200-350 dollar range? if you can please give me ideas and be as specific as possible (dont just say “jewelry”). thanks.
whats the occassion? birthday/ anniversary/baby and depends on situation and what she needs/wants. some ideas-
bangle bracelet, coffee machine, gps, new carriage, trip to florida, or hotel for night… vacations are memorable..

What does she like? Does she like costume jewelry? Does she like handbags? Does she like scarfs or sunglasses? Is she into designers or does she not care? Does she enjoy perfume?
I happen to love jewelry, as most girls do so im gonna hafta say jewelry. Sorry, but it is for her isnt it? You CAN get something beautiful for 250-300 dollars, u just have to be smart about it. There are beautiful costume sets. U can get stunn gold plated jewelry that looks the SAME as regular. (A relative of mine just got a 3 tone set of bangles with crushed diamonds/crystals for 100 each. GORGEOUS and no one would ever know its fake.) You can get her a gold engraved pendant necklace. Anything with gemstones, ring, necklace… A new watch…Just get jewelry, its what we want.
if you have a cleaning lady maybe as a gift to you wife lengthen you cleaning womens hours…..i know my mother would appriciate that!!

How about a nice watch? There are so many beautiful models out there now that you can get in that price range. Trust me, I’m in the business and even I get amazed with the value you can get sometimes

The greatest gift you can give your wife is a gift of yourself. Offer to do the dishes so she can kick her feet up for 20 minutes. If you still have small children offer to bathe them and put them to sleep. And look around the home you’ll find may little things to offer to help her with.
That will be a greatest and cheapest gift yet most memorable and lasting gift

Stuffed Cabbage- I will have to disagree, its like buying her a better working vacuum cleaner or iron. For my birthday, i would want something to DISTRACT me from my household chores, a nice peice of jewelery would work 🙂

idk about you beleiver, but a vacation on a 350 dollar budget? unless it consists or a bbq in your backyard or a picnic in a local park, i dont really see how that is feasable, enlighten me please. a 350 dollar vacation would be awesome. i guess you can always get cheap tickets to colorado or florida, but then again, you still need to pay for a shelter, transportation and food. nope, dont see how it can be done.
idk abt u 1day..according to ur vacations dont look like u even kno how to go on vacation..lol..so yea..but my vacations can b awesum..sleeping in a barn..eating nuts and bananas..chillin in an old car….lol

If she only goes for real I would say take most of the money and put it aside so u can get her something gorgeous next time. With real jewlery, rather save up for something big and stunning then a few small things she wont appreciate.. and tell her with a card or something origional but make it personal and mushy. We like that too.
Cooking dinner is very sweet and tons of fun for her. She gets a night off and its a big gesture.
You might want to purchase a nice gift from a store with a good exchange policy, so that if she doesn’t like what you buy, it’s not a waste (similar to a gift certificate, but more personal).

LOL, that would have been funny if this were from my husband. But my birthday passed a few months ago, and our anniversary is in November, plus we don’t have any little children anymore.
Besides, he knows I always love jewelry and an dinner out.
Ilovetorah- is there anything specific that your wife would love to have in the house? Did she ever mention new dishes, a nice vase? Set of linen, or anything like that?
I still say a nice leather handbag by a good designer like “Coach”.
a gorgeous leather wallet, a fabulous silk designer scarf. a great cashmwere sweater. if you buy the most luxorious thing in your price range that might work. check out the websites of lord and taylor for price ranges . if its a good brand it could work. a really good pefume with matching body lotion or cream is also a good idea. i love diors chance

Since your wife has dropped hints as to what she wants, maybe share that with us, and someone might be able to come up with an idea of how to get it within your budget.

Anyways more ideas (this is fun, Im pretending what I would like to get..) perfume set, expensive handbag/wallet/clutch or accesory for her wardrobe,( ask a friend of hers to pick it out for you) new set of dishes or silverware, trip to a spa with her sister or friend, plan all the details and surprise her with a FULL day date, (pack a picnic, drive out of town, go horseback riding on the beach, paint pottery, and go out to eat..) new window treatments for the living room, sign her up for art/guitar/dance lessons, gym membership (if she wont take it as an insult:) take her to Mac and tell her to buy as much as she wants- budget 250 dollars, new linen set or throw pillows to change the look, a dishwasher, bouquet of silk flowers for her dresser or dining room table..
Tip: DONT buy her a microwave or something she needs anyways.. get her something she would love but wouldnt splurge on herself..

It’s All a Gift , down the block from moishas has beautiful jewlery, at excellent prices (yes, in your price range). I’m pretty sure it’s what your looking for. Some of the jewlery is fake and some is real, so ask. I saw a gorgeous stunning diamond ring for $250…. still dreaming about it lol. Ave M and east 5th good luck!
oh, and the jewelry there is exchangeable. they also sell high line handbags, so while your there you an peek at both and decide which you like better. still dreaming about that ring….(anyone want to know my husband’s cell number? lol)
The absolutely best place is as mentioned above. Molly’s in Boro Park. They have the best in every price range. Each person who works there knows her stuff and is there to help you. Good Luck.
If only I’d had a crystal ball, I would have stocked up on gold earrings of all types. The prices now are ridiculous. Same thing with silver, I’d love new candlesticks, and my husband knows it, but they’re way out of our price range now. Fortunately, we bought a beautiful menorah before things went so crazy, it sells for about 3x what we paid for it now.

It’s All A Gift
For reasons I have yet to comprehend, women love to eat in a resturant. Not sure if its the linen tablecloths, the getting dressed, the being seen, but that is always a favorite.
And yes, it seems silly that for $250 you can get something lasting, whereas for $250, you can only eat out once (maybe twice, depending on the place) but for whartever the reason, that will probably get you the best mileage for your $
A close 2nd is a day spa; $250 in one pop, but a real crowd pleaser. (Yeah, baffles me too)
We like restaurants because it’s nice having an evening out, being served and having someone else put everything away. A mini vacation, so to speak.
agreed. its a meal that the wife did not have to shop for, cook, serve and clean up.
