months ago i gave in and switched to gmail
now i see there is something called gmail prime
what on earth?? is this like paid gmail??? is this something else?? can u use prime w/o gmail??
No idea- but gmail is the best thing since sliced bread.
Since Gmail is from google, there is something that you might want to know. Google has been tracking what people type in (thats how you get the ads for items similar to what you wrote about in your emails!)

GmailPrime is a desktop email client (similar to Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird or Yahoo Zimbra). It is not owned by or has any affiliation to Google. It is currently in developement stage, and will be available (Bezerat Hashem) in early Q4 2009.
The goal behind GmailPrime is to bring together all the services that Google offers in to one simple to use interface that is installed on your computer. There will no longer be a need to open your internet browser and login to Gmail or Google Apps, but rather have it easly accessable right on your desktop.

HidingUnderCover, My sister convinced me to switch to gmail, claiming it is way better than yahoo, I dont see what’s so great about it. I find it hard to loacte an old e-mail because e-mails are grouped.
Phyllis- which is why the search button was invented. Gmail is def the best and I use search the whole time.
What advantages does it have over yahoo mail?

lol…No I’m from the US, and it was Transformers. From Sentinel Prime, to Optimus Prime, to Rodimus Prime, back to Optimus Prime, to…Gmail Prime?
Oh- we also have transformers here! Those were fun to play with…(I hope I sound like I don’t play with them these days too….)
