I did the first cleaning of the fridge and freezer today; I cleaned out the crumbs and all the egregious stains. I can keep it clean until the week before Pesach, so when I do the final cleaning it will take me about an hour – instead of 2 or 3.

I’ll get to the first cleaning of the oven and stove on Wednesday.

I used to do it all on motzei Shabbat Hagadol; since I cleaned the fridge, freezer, stove, and oven all together I would be up until 4 or 4:30 in the morning. The “new” way is much more relaxing.

I also told Army Daughter that since she’s only home twice before Pesach, her room needs to be cleaned this weekend.

Anyone else up to cleaning yet?

Oh yes. I got my room cleaned and all the book shelves wiped/ dusted from around the house. Can you believe that I actually found some chametz on top of one of the book shelves? Anyways, I’m dreading for the day when it comes to cleaning the fridge and ovens. I commend you for already starting.

Good luck to everyone with your Pesach cleaning and remember to keep the tension and stress low. We all know how hectic it can get.

    Happy cleaning 😉
