    What are your guilty pleasures?

Right now, old Zionist songs. ??? ???? ????? is one of my favorites. The music is gentle adn there are Tanach allusions in the words. Hashkafically, it’s probably just as bad as listening to non-Jewish music, but very calming.

    Latma is great too.

Is posting in the CR as bad as being a Zionist?

42, the worst is posting pro-zionist ideals in the CR. 🙂

It doesn’t seem like you wanted the truth but here goes anyhow. My guilty pleasure is reading/watching/listening to something that’s not 100% kosher.

Where do you find that great music torah613?

Latma is a guilty pleasure? Why guilty? Agreed, it’s good for a laugh. Hard to feel guilty while I’m laughing.

I don’t believe in feeling guilty. If I was trying to be cute, I’d say that was my guilty pleasure.

    YW-42: Tough choice.

    Saysme: Just do it!

PBA: You feel guilty about it?

Golfer: Just look at the similar youtube videos… Latma is not so frum. At least not what I like to think of myself.

Yserbius: Me too. Except I like saying crazy things and not having to worry about the fallout. And posting here is a chesed, since if people spend time here, they can’t be in other places on the internet.

    BHBooze: Which sports team?

    WIY: Cholov stam?

VM: I don’t believe in it either, but let’s face it, our emotions do not always follow what we would like to believe. Do you feel guilty for not feeling guilty?

The Goq and Torah613613Torah – with all due respect, I would rather not say here, in the cr, which team I root for.

oh, and also, I reeeally like the chanuka/xmas season. Now don’t get me wrong, I have no feelings toward the goyishe holiday at all, c”v. However that time of year is such a happy time where I live, everyone, yidden and goyim alike, are in such a good mood, so joyous and friendly. Every store I enter I am greeted with a happy smile and greeting, and people in general seem to be in the happiest of moods at that time of year.

    Guilty as charged.

WIY: If you hold it’s ok, it is ok. If not, not. Why any guilt?

VM: I guess I should learn some mussar.

i dont feel guilty about it. It doesnt bother me to not. Why should i spend the time for hair and money n time for makeup if i feel no push? 🙂

My opinion is that the important thing is to look nice and presentable, not to pander to some arbitrary standard of how everyone must behave. If you really feel that not doing all that lends you a slovenly or unattractive appearance, then I guess you could feel guilty about it. But otherwise, feeling guilt is just silly.

Because it is still better not to even when its ok? There are things that are technically muttar are better to avoid…not trying to start this whole argument here lol.

I just feel that I’m not ready (and may never be ready)to say good bye to Haagen Dazs, Ben & Jerry’s, and lots of other goodies lol.
