I’m looking for a holocaust book that i read approximately 2 years ago. I think it was a blue book, and seemed old. I WISH I wrote down the name of it when i read it because I am DESPERATE to read it again but I don’t remember what it’s called.
In the book, there is a story about how the man injured himself very badly, he recalls how it was amazing hashgacha, because of the injury he was saved from a selection.
He then writes pesukim from nishmas to thank Hashem for the neis. (This is the part that stands out in my mind)
Does ANYONE know what book this Is?
I would be so grateful if someone could help me.August 7, 2019 9:54 pm at 9:54 pm #1771421LucyParticipantNo one?🙁

I’m going to look into those!August 8, 2019 10:06 pm at 10:06 pm #1771889LightbriteParticipantWas this Holocaust book an anthology with multiple stories? Or was it a memoir from one male survivor?
So far, I listed books written by survivors.
What about an anthology, such as:
Hasidic Tales of the Holocaust
edited by Yaffa Eliach(From taking a glance at the Google eBooks Preview online, it looks like there are multiple survivor stories in this anthology book, with leanings toward Yiddishkeit and thanking HKBH for survival)
August 20, 2019 11:32 pm at 11:32 pm #1777648LucyParticipantIt was a memoir, not an anthology.
I really appreciate all your suggestions. I’ve been looking into themAugust 21, 2019 12:01 am at 12:01 am #1777667Amil ZolaParticipantThe Yaffa Eliach book is wonderful (as most of hers are). Some of the stories are downright funny. It’s well worth the money.
