    Dear all,

I am a woman who wants to teach herself trope. I want to learn because it helps me tremendously in memorising pasukim, and as a musical person it helps me to learn Torah with greater kavanah. I can read Hebrew with nikkud and do Hebrew small talk only, I can usually remember pasukim for a long time if I learn them in trope. So I have discovered a few options online and in apps, but don’t know which way of practising is the most effectively. Any specific tips on the method to learn as fast as possible? I tried using learntrope.com ‘s exercises but I don’t get how the sequence of symbols affect each other.

Also, how long does it usually take to learn?

    Thanks in advance. Shavua tov!

Google “Chaim Fessel”. His website may help.

if you read hebrew, there is an excellent intro to trop in daat mikre on berashit by rav breuer ztl- about 20 pages. there is also a massive book in english probably around 600 pages and over 60 dollars that is a kol bo, based on rav breuer method.
