..I might as well post away.
I have full custody over my baby (for the next hour), she’s not letting me do ANYTHING! She refuses to tell me what she wants.. Seems to me all she wants is a fistful of my hair or beard.

She wants you to stop posting and read her a storybook.
The exact same things happens to me. When it does, I tell my son to stop it and go finish studying for his college finals. 🙂

Wolf…are you actually busy posting when your son is so obviously desperate for your attention?
It isn’t too young. Some babies enjoy the pictures and the sound of your voice even if they can’t understand the words.
You should start reading to babies as soon as they’re born. Hearing your voice helps them bond and it also helps them learn language.

Enjoy every minute of it. There are people that have been married for many years without children. I wouldn’t mind to have a baby that wouldn’t let me do anything else.
Reading to your children early and often is one of the most important things you can do for their mental development. It is also a crucial part of cultivating a life-long learner.
If you realize that they are never too young for reading, they will never get too old for reading.
