    “Bubby BP”

As opposed to Babby? Ok, that gives me a clue of what to look for.

And Coke, the “kids” are in yeshiva (boys don’t have off on sunday). As for me and Mrs; we’ll go wherever she says. That’s what sundays look like when you’re married.

“And Oomis – I fully believe that in one angle or another, we will cross orbits when I start doing shidduchim. Just a hunch, but that’s my guess. Either an aunt, or macheteneste, or a neighbor, or co-worker. Somehow, I just see it on the horizon. “

It would be my honor and pleasure,BPT, and I sincerely hope you identify yourself, come that day!!!!

    Dr. Pepper-

Good luck with that, hopefully soon. I know a little about how difficult that is. I don’t know why you assume I’m your mother’s age, but based on my guess of your age I might be old enough to be her mother.

How hard could it be to locate BPTotty. Just go to Borough Park, and shout out “totty” and see who looks up. How many can there be?

WIY, Why it should be very simple: just look out for the guy who always Davens in the front in Shomer Shabbos, and who is carefull not to walk in front of others during their Shmone Esrei. I just don’t know if you are still there by the time I show up, when I go there. That means that you’re definitely not the guy collecting:)

    Squeak,

I once had dinner friday night with a man who totally was similiar to you. I don’t *think* it was you, but he definitely had your sense of humor and way of speaking.

    squeak-

I assumed you were my mothers age based on a few posts- one of them being the riddle with the monkey which you read in a magazine in the 50s.

Please forgive me if you were offended. (The last thing I need is for you to start hitting me with your cane when BP Totty and I look for the “wagon”.)

By the way- how did you solve that riddle? Was it the same method I used?

Also- how old do you think I am?

If I were discovered? Deny, deny, deny!

I have one friend who knows my screen name, but I don’t think she posts here. I did discover my mother-in-law, however – but she doesn’t know it!

    Anybody figure me out yet?

    coke-

I don’t live there but I plan on being there on Sunday.

This might be against CR rules but I think we should each hold something that says our name on it.

Interesting twist in the thread, talking about ages.

Ittisa came home one day and told me “you’re Gavra, aren’t you?”

She told me she looked in the CR for the first time & I post in the manner that I speak & agree with my shittos.

    I guess it is obvious.

Oomis – Sure thing! Here’s who I’ll be looking for when I walk into the vort; someone whe grew up as a typical 1950s – 1960s era American girl, whose children / child-in-laws are accomplished bnei and bnos torah, whom she is fiercely proud of, 2nd only to the nachas she has from seeing her grandchildren. is more observant now, then she was a child, due to her childrens growth and schooling (as is the case for many of us).She may not have the same “tech saavy” her kids have, but she is no fool. Dressed modestly, yet tastefully, and carries herself and speaks as befitting a mother / grandmother of such a family.

Problem is (similar to the one I have with Blinky) the above bio most likely covers many of your friends, relatives and mechutonim; becuase those are the people you associate with.

Know what? It covers most of my mailing list too. That’s why I say our orbits are bound to overlap. You might be the future sister-in-law’s Aunt, or a neighbor of the aunt and get invited to sheva bracos, but by hook or crook is a safe bet.

    Time will tell!

You’re an askan? Is that meant to be sarcastic? Give me a little more to work with. I’m assuming that you know me through said “hubby” unless you’re from LA yourself. I think I might have gotten you but I’m not sure…

I don’t know about you but I find it very uncomfortable that men and women are chatting so casually on such a personal (read ‘non-generic posting’) level. If you met somewhere you would feel very close to each other, and I don’t see that as being a good thing. I have a friend who felt closer to the chat friends than the spouse and that was a big pull to ending the marriage. Sounds extreme but if you talk to some local MSW’s and rabbeim you will hear that it isn’t.

    Not ‘mussar-ing’ just concerned.

Well said, Syag. I’m dropping this one. You are right, and I thank you for calling it to my attention.
