I have noticed people going in and out of the cleaners on Chol Hamoed Succos and this morning I noticed a man insisting to pick up his clothes on chol Hamoed – What are the conditions is this permissible?

I don’t see why this should be such a clear no. If the person prepays, and the cleaners clean it before yom tov, the only issue would be potentially maras ayin, no? If you’re wondering why they wouldn’t want to pick it up before yom tov, maybe they just don’t have time to stop by in the busy pre-Pesach season.
