A few days ago I took my small kids to play in the local park on a Sunday afternoon. THere were 15 frum mothers and only 3 fathers. Is it denigrating to men to go to the park?

I think you need an attitude adjustment

I dont know but my father took me the park and I took my children when they were younger. Maybe the husbands were playing ball or doing other chores.

Why would being in the minority make it “denigrating”?

In my local park on Shabbos afternoon, there are tons of mothers and fathers taking their kids to the park. I think it was pure coincidence the time you were there.

It’s your perception. If you feel denigrated then it’s denigrating.

Manly men take their kids to manly venues, like NASCAR races and shooting ranges.

Are you asking if it’s unmanly to parent your own children?

You know that you are a father, right?

Yes only woman should spend time with kids. Men changing diapers, going to parks and laughing to much with there kids is feminism.

No, being a decent parent is not “unmanly”

Sometimes parents take their kids to the park because their kids need to go to the park, and sometimes parents just go to the park and the kids come along.

    Ejab:
I’m still not sure I understand the concerns underlying the OP. Was there a concern that any of the 3 fathers might act inappropriately towards the 15 or so mothers at the Park? If not, what do you mean by “unmanly”?? Perhaps you need to get in touch with your feminine side.
