My login name is NITPICKER and I, uh I AM, uh um oh oh urp, I AM A POSTAHOLIC!!.
Sure, it started out as social inking (virtual inking of course),
just one or two inks a day to relieve some tension and enjoy some interaction.
I simply had to ink. And ink. And ink.
And then, as I was working on my addiction, I had an argument with another poster, something I very much dislike.
So I said I would refrain from posting for a while, (without defining while!). Other poster has also held back from posting until today.
So my question is, do you think posting can be addictive? Do any of you think you have a problem?
Is posting addiction something bad?
Even at my peak, I never approached the giddy heights of the champ. (we all know who that is). But I don’t think he is a postaholic, but an actual social inker.
I will lurk back and watch this thread, if one develops.
Meanwhile, excuse me, I have some pent up posting to do.

Yes- it is!! finally when i had no access to a computer for months at a time- it helped- now its back- but i’ve learned to limit myself- which is very hard because i am one of those quiet people who have a lot to say- but not in public where you know who i am!
No. It’s not at all addictive. I can stop whenever I want. I just don’t want to, right now. Or in the near foreseeable future.
You have a serious issue. I suggest you see a therapist and get some pills to help you with this issue.

not at all- at first i thought i did- but I was wrong- unless you were in sem with me? but i don’t think so-
bygirl93, maybe we do know each other… BUT, if you were born in 1993, I highly doubt that we were in seminary even the same year, unless you came a little early or I came alittle late!! 1893?-or you came alittle late and I came a little early…LOL;)
Do you think that prehaps you pos came past for a shabbos, during your year in E”Y? what seminary was it?

goq- because she is not trying to figure out who i am- merely, if she knows me- and obviously i am fine with that if i am answering- no one else can figure out who i am by this info- and most of my friends already know who i am
I was a tad addicted when I first joined but I got over it.
bygirl93- I think I know you. Did your sister get married in January?
nope- but a few of my friends sisters did- ur prob confusing me with one of them
i was addicted for a while but when “The Powers That Be” decide to block me for some reason it got me to stop caring. as you can see i just made a new account but now i just post very occasionally. you can ask them to block you if you are too addicted and you think that might help.

BYG you dont know who this person is or what their motives are you have given alot of information about yourself this is potentially very dangerous.

I’ve been here quite a couple of years and I’ve found this place not to be addictive at all. Nope, not at all.
I allow myself to become a bit addicted over bein hazmanim but then I stop cold turkey when yeshiva starts
I could stop at any time.
I was also addicted in the beginning but once the initial addiction went away, I kinda lost my interest and often find the threads boring. aalthough maybe its only boring cuz I don’t post anymore…..
