Don’t listen to Joseph, he’s making up fake halacha again. Isn’t it interesting that he’s always machmir? Ask your LOR instead and you’ll see that Joseph is wrong as usual.
See Beer Moshe 7,39 and 93 writing on a disk is automatic. On Chal Moad a pesik reshe is not assur and the writing is a code. Writing on a monitor display has no permanence.
