Will Hill: wow thanx!!! the only thing is, is that like i told you when you became my sponsor that my other addiction before this addiction was a lot worse of an addiction!!! i really feel that if i stopped the cr i would revert back to the other addiction-one that as a member of klal yisroel i’m not proud of!!! i’m 100% serious here, i’m not kidding!!! you see my dilema here!!!

The trick to kicking this addiction is simple. Log out. As long as you do not post, the threads will become less and less interesting to you. After a while you won’t even come on to read.

i’ll be honest: never mind if i’m willing to do it or not. i don’t think i could – i haven’t opened a sefer in over a year. embarrassing as it is, the girls on here could probably do a better job than me.

I used to think it was addictive, but now that most of the conversation’s in the coffee room, not so much so. I find it much slower than the comments to an article, or the mailbag. You have to click, go on to the right page, etc. instead of just scrolling down. Whole thing’s a hassle and I do have a life.

yes it is very adddicting. I found about this site, because I wanted to find about a place where I can find a kosher source for the news. Then I stumbled into the CR.
It really helps curb the addiction when nooone moderates for a couple of hours. Then there’s nothing new to read. Thanks mods, Iguess you had a wedding tonight.

Perhaps the moderators could restrict each user to 2-3 postings a day, that should ensure people use CR appropriately.
