Well it’s almost football season and what can I say I am pumped I think this our year Jets fans I don’t think we will win the division but I do think the Jets will finish 12-4 and win the number 5 seed. Then January football will come and we will prove that we are not just a playoff team but we are a super bowl team and on Monday February 6 we will be able to say SUPER BOWL CHAMPION NY JETS!!!!!
And the Cubs will win the world series.
Bar Shattya, with 31 games left the Cubs are 57-74, 20.5 games behind the 78-54 Brewers. So if the Cubs finish 26-5 whille the Brewers finish 5-25 they would end up tied. So yes there is still a chance. Go Cubbies!
The only Jets that I am a little bit interested in are the real Jets – The Winnipeg Jets – the newest, old NHL team.

Is anybody fascinated by the legal details and procedures of the lockouts? I am. It’s such a life lesson how much meaningless intillectual stuff is out there, like our seriously messed up legal system.
Goq, I agree with you, but unfortunately, I can’t really see anyone beating the Packers this year, especially if they stay healthy.

Every once in a while Hashem reminds frum sports fans that the people they are rooting for and waste their money on to see them live hate their guts. Just that some of them are more vocal about it.
Actually this is not true across the board. Tim Tebow, for instance, is a “frum Christian” and probably loves yidden because he thinks we are going to bring his fake messiah.
Abraham Foxman and the ADL has come out in defense of this player he says he hasn’t crossed any radical lines and is just proud of his heritage.
Funnyguy: they won’t take the division at 12-4, but they’ll win the SB? Why do you have more confidence in the harder feat than the easier one? Why do you think 12-4 won’t take the Hernandez-less AFC east? And how, how, could the Jets possibly win more than 6 games with no QB?

I’m not sure when it is that Mr. Foxman came out in defense of Oday Aboushi, but I have a hard time believing Mr. foxman made such a statement after aboushi was a featured speaker at the el Bireh Societies annual get together this past June 28th in Arlington Va. To quote Andy Kaufman of frontpagemag dot com
Certainly Mr. Foxman agrees with this sentiment. He has gotten all bent out of shape over less inflammatory things.
