Store Move: Progress Report
We are very aware that all our friends and customers are awaiting our move to the new location (so are we). Our staff is busy with a multitude of tasks, from buying equipment, cleaning, supervising construction projects, to more cleaning.
Some details:
1. We just received a permit for expansion of our backroom/ warehouse area, construction should begin shortly.
2. Our Seven Mile Market Bakery, to be called
3. The Seven Mile Market Pharmacy will be operated by Mr. Levi Friedman and Pikesville Pharmacy.
Will be Star-K, Cholov Yisrael
As we get closer to our moving date, we plan to continue sending you updates.

WAYYYYY old news. They will be opening next week. And, yes, it is expected to be the largest kosher supermarket in the world. So big, in fact, that they can have four complete aisles of Pesach supplies while still maintaining their entire stock of regular food (during Pesach time, of course).
i heard that they are having a babysitter center so you can drop off kids while you shop
they aren’t having the babysitter center – some people suggested it, but it didn’t end up happening.

That is one of the things I am going to miss since I left Baltimore, They are going to have Pharmacy, deli, bakery, cafe…It used to be Safeway, so it is huge.

Wonderful people. They should have lots of Hatzlocha in their new location!!

-the shopping carts come with GPS systems.
-the space shuttle astronauts use it as a reference point.
-if you order and eat a fleishig sandwich in the deli section, you will be milchig by the time you reach the pizza in the dairy section.

-you can actually see the curvature of the earth if you stand on one end of the aisle and look to the other.
-there is a life-size model of The Pentagon in the toy section.
-announcements on the P.A. system get charged for long distance.

I have been to a building that actually does have its own zip and post office. There is a cafe and a gift shop in the building, but it is not particularly large. Where is it?
I remeber going there years ago.. I was served by a handicapped getlemen. Such a nice thing.. As a kid I was petrified .. but still I think it was so nice!
Apparently the Safeway opened up near there expecting to take away the business from 7 MM. They were wrong.. No one shopped there so now 7MM is moving into their old store!!

I’d rather talk about Mt. Washington than Seven Mile (or Jacks). Nothing ever gets better when it gets bigger. I think the only cooked, hot deli you could get in Jacks was Franks and Potato Kugel. Anyone remember?

I did a bit of research (google = research), and it seems that the WTC had two zip codes, but each tower didn’t have two.
According to ChaCha, “The Empire State Building is the only building in New York City to have its own zip code. It’s 10118.”

I agree, something is lost if you don’t hear his deadpan voice in your head. But not all is lost. Here are some other good and readable ones:
- Right now I’m having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.
- I broke a mirror in my house. I’m supposed to get seven years of bad luck, but my lawyer thinks he can get me five.
- I was going 70 miles an hour and got stopped by a cop who said, “Do you know the speed limit is 55 miles per hour?” “Yes, officer, but I wasn’t going to be out that long…”
