Is it true that Leviim will become Kohanim when Moshiach comes? I think thats what the Arizal says…

That Korach will become Kohen Gadol?

Will the Leviim switch roles with the Kohanim or will the Leviim just become Kohanim?

    Can someone clarify please…. Thanks

I believe bechorim will do the avoda, post-Moshiach in the Third Beis HaMikdash, as they were originally supposed to.

I always wondered how statements such as this (as well as the one regarding Yomim Tovim becoming nullified in Moshiach’s time) don’t run afoul of the ninth ikkur of emunah.

    They do.

Keep in mind though the ninth ikkur you refer to is the Rambam’s others disagree

R’ Wolf: I agree. I’m not one to argue on AriZals, but in Nigleh such things are not Nitan L’Hei’Amer.

I don’t know anything about this Arizal, but the concept isn’t necessarily a stirah to the Rambam.
