I just wanted to bring up a point since it’s summer and people go swimming a lot now. Lifeguards should be watching the kids swimming and not shmoozing, texting, sleeping, etc. while they are supposed to be lifeguarding. I know someone who almost drowned cuz the lifeguards weren’t watching properly (note: I said lifeguardS) Even when there are others watching you can’t rely on them-u gotta so ur job.

Parents have to be careful with kids around the pool area.

Its very upsetting for a lifeguard to keep reminding the parents to watch their kids (even though technically its not her responsibility as most pool rules are that little kids have to be with an adult)Mothers please-the safety of your children come first!
