The phrase L’shanah haba’ah b’Yerushalayim is in the seder and at the end of Yom Kippur. In most of the tunes used for it, we add the word ha’benuyah. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that word printed in a siddur or machzor. So where did it come from?

    It’s ancient.
